So, to recap from the events on 11/29. To say it was AMAZING is an understatement..
Having the opportunity to meet and open up Allen Stone was a definite blessing. He’s such an amazing singer/songwriter, and when he performed Last To Speak I was sold.. I’m a fan for life. If you love his music, it’s 10 times greater LIVE.
Being the opening act for the show was only the icing on the cake. It was my niece, Cameron’s 1st time watching me perform live and she’s my biggest fan. So it was MAD coo that she had a chance to come out and watch a show considering the fact that most of the gigs I have are 21+. I even had homies I haven’t seen in years from high school and even ELEMENTARY school that came out to support. My boy Oswaldo was there and he reminded me of the 1st time I ever sang in front of a audience in 6th grade. I was a nerd named Rappin Randy in this play called the Inside Pitch LOL. We were choppin it up and told me “I can’t believe you took it this far bro, I’m proud of you!” and that meant the world to me. It’s little things that count yo.
I also had a chance to share the stage with Mark (Idiogenius), Chris from ANAk, Chris (DJ Flow), and my big brother Sherwin. These cats been there from the beginning of everything and individually help mold me into the artist/singer that I am today. It really meant a lot for them to be there and share that moment with me.
To top everything off, in the middle of my set my brother got the crowd to sing happy birthday to me. HELLA dope!
I chopped it up with the Allen before the show was while I eating some Chinese food and he asked me what my fortune cookie said. It read, The moments after this are going to be memorable and life changing. Allen jokingly said, “I bet 50 that it doesn’t come true haha!”
If anybody sees Mr. Stone, tell him he owe me 50 bucks! hahaa
This one was for you Auntie Aurie, RIP I love you!
